He always allowed me to be...well...me...supporting me in whatever hairbrained scheme I had. He was one of the smartest guys I ever met and knew more about music than just about anybody.</p> <p>He was my Dad.</p> <p>He had been sick for awhile but not critically so it came as major shock to all of us. For those of you I've spoken with I want to let you know that your friendship is appreciated.
