He always allowed me to be...well...me...supporting me in whatever hairbrained scheme I had. He was one of the smartest guys I ever met and knew more about music than just about anybody. He was my Dad. He had been sick for awhile but not critically so it came as major shock to all of us. For those of you I've spoken with I want to let you know that your friendship is appreciated. You have seriously made a difficult situation less so.
