An Evening at Camp Gaea
Ghost Vigil isn't all about hard work and toil, you know! We've developed some strong friendships within the group, and Edward suggested we all go out to Gaea Retreat and have a cookout and tour some of the interesting locations out at th Camp. We decided to go out there to honor this time of year...Lammas...the "Fruits of First Harvest."
We built a big fire, ate food, drank mead and beer, visited the Fairy Gate and Hearn's Hollow, talked and laughed, and just had a great time. A small group participated in a small Lammas ritual to mark the importance of the Holiday. And late in the night, we all wandered back to our normal everyday lives....leaving the magic to Gaea Retreat behind us.

Festival of the Three Moons
The Festival of the Three Moons this weekend was very rewarding. Jamie King and I gave three different workshops on behalf of Ghost Vigil Investigations. We had about 50 people at our "Investigating a Pagan Ritual" workshop. Then that night there were about 70 people at the "Ghost Hunting Basics" workshop. Earlier today, there were about 60 people at the "Psi Theory" workshop.

The people at the workshops were very engaged, asked a stream of interesting and insightful questions, and we had to cut every single one of the workshops off before everyone had asked all their questions. It was great. Altogher, I spent three hours and 45 minutes talking to an audience about the paranormal.
We handed out Ghost Vigil business cards to every single person who attended our workshops...so I'm hoping to hear from some of the participants on the website or by e-mail! There were over 500 pagans attending the Festival...tons of merchants, and workshops, and all sorts of interesting things to see and do...
More about the Festival soon...
